Since mechanical keyboards are a niche item, keyboard o rings aren't something you can buy everywhere. I buy mine off Ebay. They aren't expensive. $5 for a bag of 100 is reasonable.

O-rings will shorten the keythrow, which is something to consider, and it will also dampen the keys when buttoming out. Something else to consider, is that o-rings are made of rubber. So when buttoming out the keys will be stopped by rubber, which is a soft and malleable material. Personally i find that this will make the keys feel mushy.
